Welcome to our FAQ page! Our page is designed to help you find information with ease. Below, you will find a list of answers to common questions.

Are the parent dogs part of your family?

Yes, all dogs are family-owned and live with us.

 

Is there a fee?

The adoption fee is $500. A discount is applied if:

  • ​Multiple pups are adopted.

  • You and your friends adopt a pup.

Is financing an option?

Not at this time.

When are the puppies ready for their new homes?

Pups are ready at approximately 8-12 weeks old.

  • Puppies are picked in the order of deposits received.

What else is included?
  1. deworming record.

  2. A collar.

  3. All puppies are introduced to potty training.

 How should I prepare?
  1. Have a crate in a common area of your home.

  2. Purchase high-quality puppy formula or dry kibble.

  3. Have the contact information of a trusted veterinarian.

  4. Consider a local 24-hour veterinary clinic.

Spaying/Neutering:

Consider spaying or neutering your pup between 6 months and 1 year old for their long-term health and well-being.

Can I visit?

Our parent dogs are privately owned family pets and live in our homes, not in kennels. Although we cannot accommodate daily visitors, we can happily arrange Zoom calls.

Where can I pick up my pup?

We recommend that you pick up your puppy from our Happy Tails Dog Hub home, but if you cannot travel, we may arrange to deliver the puppy to you. Additional fees may apply.

  • The remaining balance is due when the puppy is picked up or delivered.

Are puppies shipped?

To prevent unnecessary stress and for the safety of the pups, we do not ship.

  • We do have two pick-up locations: NC and RI.

    • Depending on location, delivery may be an option.
